Born in Rome in 1991, Marco discovered early in his life that he could grab his dad's camera and use it to escape boring family gatherings. In his teen years, he found himself in a small town in Iowa and the cultural shock prompted him to pick up his first digital camera.

Since then he graduated in Linguistics, Languages and Cultural Mediation at Roma Tre University in Rome, he has worked on the long-term street-portrait series "Humans of Rome" and on documenting issues such as the 2016-2017 earthquakes in central Italy, synaesthesia and neurodiversity, urbanism, and - most importantly - his grandma's life.

Marco is currently based in London and attending an MA in Photojournalism & Documentary Photography at University of the Arts London: London College of Communication.
